With World Earth Day on the 22nd April 2023 we wanted to give you an update of how we are progressing as a business to become more sustainable in everything we do:
All our packaging is now made from recycled materials and doesn't contain any plastic. We also offer an eco packaging option to reduce the amount of packaging sent to our customers so as to reduce our carbon emissions.
Are a part of the Responsible Jewellery Council which is the leading global standards authority to ensure a sustainable supply chain for the Jewellery and Watch Industry. Here are the codes of practice that all members adhere to: Currently in April 2023 39% of our products are made from recycled metals. From Earth Day, 22nd April 2023, we pledge that all new orders placed will be made with 100% recycled gold and sterling silver. We are proud that this year marks the 2nd Anniversary of our partnership with female-led charity Treesisters to aid reforestation, climate repair and gender equality. We have planted one tree for every order placed since April 2021. Read more about Treesisters here.
'May we feel our roots in the earth. May we gather, unite, rise and call forth a new way. Together.'
Claire Dubois, Founder & CEO Treesisters
In December 2022 we partnered with the incredible charity Centrepoint who provide support for the homeless here in the UK. We will continue to support charities close to our hearts.
