How can I clean my piercing jewellery?
It's easy! Line a shallow bowl or tupperware with tin foil, add your piercing jewellery. Fill with boiling water and add a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda. Then you will see a fizz and watch the dirt fall away. For an extra clean use an old soft toothbrush to brighten the stones and help any stubborn dirt. Rinse with water and your piercing jewellery should look sparkly and good as new.
My new piercing has now healed and I need a shorter post, do you sell these?

How do I know when to change a new piercing?
The key is to be patient. Never change your piercing jewellery too early as it can cause the piercing to get irritated and will take longer to heal. Your piercer can reduce the post length once the swelling has reduced but it's best to get your piercer to check after a few months and change for you.
My piercing is not healing, what can I do?
Piercings can take months or even years to heal so you need to be patient with the healing process and not rush to change your piercing jewellery. Make sure you keep the area clean, use Neilmed piercing aftercare saline mist. Try not to touch or sleep on it, definitely no twisting. Handy trick is to use a travel pillow if you are a side sleeper so your ear can rest in the hole (you will thank us for this). Don’t change the piercing jewellery too soon, this is why investing in an earring you love to get pierced with is key.
